    Unless they've been approved by the medical authorities, don't go near them - some of those "herbal" items aren't all they claim - and some of them "forget" to tell you the dangers of using them!

    It depends on the brand that you are referring to.

    Some do work whilst others are just snake oil.

    I wouldn't take anything that was not evaluated nor approved by the FDA.
