Is it possible for a hard core liberal to own a gun?

I'm a "hard-core" liberal, but I'm not anti gun. I am simply anti stupid, crazy, irresponsible people with guns. I am also against any average citizen owning assault weapons - there is NO need. As an intelligent person, as well, I understand that with gun ownership and the freedoms we have in this country to bear arms, comes immense responsibility. If you aren't able to be responsible and are incapable of abiding by the stricter laws we need in regards to gun ownership, then you aren't a person who should own a gun.

Yes, very much so. The most liberal guy I know, a co-worker of mine, has a whole basement full of guns. And by full, I mean the walls are lined with guns like an artillery.

Sometimes I think Liberals are not playing with a full deck

They seem to have abandoned logic and reason

They are Advocates of a policy that empowers a strong federal government to enslave its people with the high tax burden incident to the support of extravagant and unnecessary social programs destructive to both the work ethic among the lower class, and the incentive to innovate and succeed among the working people .

If I could, I'd use a mortar for hunting. 60mm, since I don't want to walk 5 miles.

As far as military style weapons go, the AR15 is for sissies. No penetration power. the old 7.62 weapons were better, especially the FN. If that was the weapon the kids wanted nowadays, I'd understand. I just don't get hardons for the 5.56. It is a useless weapon.

If I were to get another, I'd get a .338. That's serious penetration and range.

Absolutely! Gun ownership does not have to be party specific. Anyone is allowed to own guns except the law breakers that are prohibited.
