I have a question for lesbians?
I'm a bisexual girl and I get a lot of crap for being bisexual. Almost every time I tell a lesbian I'm bisexual I either get told I'm just confused or they just stop talking to me. Even on dating websites most of lesbians profiles say no bisexual girls... I just don't get it!
I'm not confused. I don't date men and women at the same time. I don't say I'm a lesbian when I'm dating a girl, but straight when I'm dating a guy. I'm just bisexual. Maybe it's just the girls I talk to, but I just don't get it.
Why do most lesbians not like bisexual girls?
@Stephanie: Personal I think if someone is in a committed relationship and in love with the person, then they won't just wake up one day wanting to get laid by a different sex. If that is the case, then the person was never in love in the first place. Not only that a lesbian could wake up one day and wanting to get laid by a different girl. I know for a fact that I can be in a committed relationship. It really depends on the person if they can be in a committed relationship or not. Not if they bisexual, lesbian or gay. It's the person not the sexuality.

Blame that small minority of girls who call themselves bi but aren't. It's their fault, and you shouldn't be blamed for it, but there it is. Also, it is possible (but there's no hard research on this as there's not a lot of bisexual research at all) that female bisexuals do often have a hetero leaning, they may date men long term more than women. So I could understand a lesbian saying "no bi girls" if she assumes all bi girls are just after booty, rather than a relationship.
Personally, I might try avoiding saying the B word for as long as possible. A woman asks if you're a lesbian, you reply "Why, wanna ask me out?" while giving her eyebrow wiggles. You don't actually have to say you're bisexual, just imply that you're interested. You're a gynosexual, no need to clarify you're also an androsexual, at least until she gets to know you a little and your personality has a chance to overcome her mental stereotypes.

Well I'm a lesbian and I personally don't have a problem with bisexual girls. But, if she really is bisexual and isn't just saying she is. That's the reason why I think a lot lesbians don't like bisexual girls. Mostly because of girls who claim to be bisexual and aren't or break up with them/cheat on them with a guy.

I'm a lesbian and I don't personally have any problem with bisexual or pansexual girls.
Although I'm completely open to being with bisexual and pansexual girls as well as lesbians, I think the main problem for many lesbian girls when it comes to dating bi girls is that it's often seen as just experimenting. As much as they might like the girl, they feel like they're going to get with them and then decide a month or two into it that they're actually straight.
I don't agree with the way that people assume that people aren't genuinely bisexual but I suppose that can be attributed to the girls in high school who say they're bisexual so that they can attract extra male attention (I don't mean girls who are genuinely questioning or are actually bisexual, just the ones who go out of their way to make it seem like they're something they're not).
Sorry you're often lumped into such a shitty group! But there are lesbians out there (like myself) who understand that you can be in a completely committed relationship, regardless of your sexual orientation.

Hi !
Well I am a lesbian and I don't like bisexual girls :|
I know you are not confused, I know it's the way you feel, you are attracted to girls, the same way you are attracted to boys.
I know you are loyal, I know you don't cheet.
I could be your friend forever an that would be perfect.
But I just can't with the idea of having a bisexual girlfriend.
:/
I don't know why but I don't feel as attracted to them as I feel to a lesbian woman.
For the same reason you like boys and girls, I like only lesbian girls.
(I consider I could fall in love with a bisexual girl and that wouldn't really matter, love is love)
Kiss ! (sorry about my bad english)

Most lesbians think bisexual's are just "curious" about their sexuality. That they don't want to actually commit to a woman or a man.
Too much competition.
Too much confusion.
Not enough stability.

well yes this is an interesting question and also an interesting first reply. I'm a bi girl and I have found that yes some people do think that your gunna be a player or something. My boyfriend finds that it is too much competition, he feels that i want something that he cant give me, he is pretty against me being bi. he thinks i should be straight when with him and gay if im out with a girl and bi if im single. but im like "what it dosnt work like that"....i dunno, sometimes poeple just dont understand bisexuality.

Ok, and maybe I am wrong here, and maybe someone can explain this to me. How as a bisexual can you be in a committed relationship? That's what I see. I do not hate bi girls, but I see them as someone I wouldn't be in a relationship with either. Why should I bother if you are going to wake up one day and want to get laid by some guy. Why bother is my point So yeah I would walk away from you.

I can use my example for not caring much for Bisexual Women, Its to much of a hassle and I refuse having to worry about my girlfriend or the person i talk to gaming feelings for a guy or worrying about if it would be the same with guy or a girl. I tend not to care also for Bisexual girls especially if there more sexually active with men, then of course thats an issue.

lesbians dont like bi's because they dont want to be an experiment and is a high chance of being cheated on because everytime a girls in competition with a guy the guy always win
