scientific notation off by one?

2^64 = 1.8446744e19

which is about 1.845 quintillion or 18.45 quintillion? and can you explain why, I did the decimal hopping and came up with 1.845 quintillion

    2^64

    = 18,446,744,073,709,600,000

    which is 1.84467440737096 * 10^19

    which is also about 18.45 quintillion.
