GH: WHY are the writers incorporating Port Charles into GH?? Is this appealing?

I think they're just trying to find a way to have John and the other OLTL characters leave the show, I don't the like the vampire stuff though it's really annoying.

The vampire story line would work for Michael Easton staying on GH since Prospect park owns the characters of John, Todd, and Star. Don't know what they will do with Todd and Star though.

I love it,i loved port charles and i love this new story line.for those who didn't watch Port Charles it's a shame it was a beautiful written soap.Gh needed this change it just seems Gh has turned into the

Sonny Show far to long.

I find it intriguing lots of questions and good ones at that:

"Is Lucy hallucinating or is she for real" "If Lucy is hallucinating then why does Allison show the same fears as Mrs Coe" "Do vampires really exist or is it all fantasy".

It is supposedly a tribute to the soap Port Charles but if you are like me and never watched it we are all lost..

I'm thinking it's their way of possibly keeping ME on the show without the character of John.
