Which bachelor's degree is better for photonics?

My school offers physics with an optics concentration, which is just a normal physics curriculum with the addition of 3 optics electives and 2 math/engineering electives. Would this be more ideal, or would electrical engineering? I would graduate sooner under physics. I would be going to grad school for photonics. I'll probably do the physics major, but am just curious.

Probably physics. Electrical engineering is exactly what it sounds like, dealing with a lot of electricity haha. Circuits and what not. Not so much optics.

Only optics ive run into studying EE is a course in physics
