Update:

Is that because he destroyed the whole concept of a Voluntary Union, because he was ineligible for office, or because he started a war that killed over 700,000 Americans?

    There is but ONE 13th amendment to the US Constitution.

    Lincoln wasn't ineligible for office. He met ALL the Constitutional requirements.

    Sorry, you're wrong. It was the Confederacy which started the war _ Fort Sumter.
