Our daughters name please help!?
My husband and I are having our first and only baby together. This has been a hard pregnancy and she is our miracle baby. I have placenta previa and will need a hysterectomy after this. I am typing this from my hospital bed. We know we are having a girl. But our taste in names is so different.
Neither of us really wants a middle name. I don't have one and neither does my husband. They are not actually in any family members names. Although we have a hyphenated last name. So here are the lists and maybe give us some advice.
His list
Agnes
Agatha
Julia
Bernadine
Lois
Nancy
Celeste
Josephine
My list
Skye
Casey
Leah
Brooke
Taylor
Mackenzie
Aria
So you can see our problem. Help?

On his list I like
Josephine
Julia
On your list I like
Taylor
Leah
Brooke(cuz it's my name!)
I know you say you don't really want a middle name, but that right there could be the solution to your problem. Just combine one name from each of the lists! Ex- Taylor Josephine, Leah Celeste, Julia Skye, etc. Good luck!! Xoxoxox

Hi,
Firstly congratulations
Well I know that you don't want a middle name but maybe you should think about selecting a name from each of your lists as a lot of them do complement each other.
Lois Mackenzie
Agnes Brooke
Aria Agatha
Also I thought of the name Ava because it has that timeless quality and is still very modern.
No matter what maybe once you meet your little girl she'll help you name her :)
Good luck :)

Congratulations~
It seems like your husband prefers old/vintage names and you prefer newer/popular names. Maybe in this case a middle name might work well, because then at least you both get what you want.
Aria Celeste would be beautiful. It makes me think of a girl with a beautiful voice singing in the clouds. Good luck~

You could hyphenate the first name and call her by a two named first name, using a comb of both your names.
Julia-Skye
Aria-Josephine and call her AriaJo

Jules - a nod to Julia but one syllable hip
Aegan - a nod to Agnes but the name of a sea which is cool
Lola - combination of Lois and Leah
Celie - combination of Celeste & Casey (SEE-lee)
Follow your hearts.

I actually imagine no human being could deserve this quite sorting out 2 fantastically a lot 3 years later. i'd attempt to envision which includes your husband on my own out to dinner or someplace. And ask him some questions like did he extremely call her after his ex or did he the picture of the call. I agree it truly is a lovable call yet i imagine he must have gave a touch rationalization in the back of the choosing. unlike an finished tale, yet why he chosen it. Now that you're pregnant back i'd opt for the call of your son on my own, not inevitably an ex of yours because it truly is a touch too little bit of revenge. quite even as your little ones are older they could ask how they bypass their names on a college task or something and also you dont opt for to assert after your fathers ex female friend and my ex boyfriend. yet i'd in simple terms attempt to artwork issues out with him and if it would not workout consultation that properly, i'd record for divorce and in no way provide him a choosing contained in the call of your son. best of success!
