Why is 3 and 7 people's most favourite numbers?
I watch watching a YouTube video about what people's favourite numbers are. A survey of around 6000 YouTube comment were analysed, and the top two are 3 and 7, which was surprising and yet not surprising to me at the same time. The reason it wasn't surprising was that 3 and 7 are also my favourite numbers. However, it is surprising because I cannot explain why I, or indeed anyone else, likes these numbers. I just do. So I was wondering if anyone can give me an explanation as to why these two numbers are apparently people's favourite numbers?

Maybe because 3 and 7 are both small numbers and are both prime or add up to 10 and are both odd numbers that have 3 numbers between them.

I believe it has nothing to do with math.
Almost everyone had their parents reading them fairy tales in their childhood. If you have a look at them, you will see that in every fairy-tale the king has 3 sons, the dragon has 7 heads etc. So as a kid you came across with these "magical numbers" everywhere, it takes a great place hidden back in your mind. Your adulthood is full of your childehood's memories, even if you don't recognize them, they appear in your daily routines.

It may be because they are odd numbers or because of the shape of the number. I personally like even numbers more because they can be divided evenly in half.
