Help with this genetics problem - about alleles?

For 20 loci each with 2 alleles each:?

How many haplotypes are possible?

How many diploid genotypes are possible?

Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

This is a review for a test - not homework!!

Simplify the problem... Imagine you had 2 loci with 2 alleles each. How many possible haplotypes could you have? Solve this easier problem, then apply the same logic to your 20 loci problem. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for life.

you utilize a attempt table to determine this out! A a a Aa aa a Aa aa Aa = heterozygous determine. aa= commonplace canines (homozygous) 50% would be aa (commonplace) 50% would be Aa (heterozygous) Fraction = a million/2
