if there was a doctor and he killed millions of people for a cure for cancer or something like that and will kill more to succeed. you have the choice to kill him now to save lives or would you leave him to his work and let people die in hope to save lives.

If I had access to a guy who was actively killing humans, and I was backed by my government, I'd capture him so he could face justice. If he resisted, I'd whack him. Who knows. Maybe one of the people he kills could have figured out the cure without killing anyone.

Who is he killing? If he's sacrificing a million pedophiles, I'd help him even if the cure doesn't work. If he's sacrificing innocent babies, I'd stop him. The damage inflicted by cancer is more bearable than that inflicted by infanticide.
