Can a dead Battery disrupt or damage the electronic system in a car?

I will not be using my car for six months and have left the terminals on. In that case the battery is likely to die, so was wondering if could damage the functions when i put in new battery.

the only thing that you should have to deal with is the lack of memories stored. the new battery should not be an issue.

Most likely not. You may find some corrosion when you return to the car, but as the battery drains and possibly dies, it won't have an effect on the rest of the car.

Charge up the battery and it will last six months .
