the carburator bowl on my portable generator came off can find no bracket?? could it have been glued on?
It was just laying under the unit no sign of bracket, no hole in the bottom for bolt, what held it on??

Most are held on by a 'Bow' spring that pivots down from the carb. body above,
the belly of the spring contacting the bottom of the bowl.
Look for two holes in opposite sides of the metal ring above the bowl rim.
Look for the spring, and probably a gasket under the unit.
