Read comics and graphic novels online?

Question

I am looking for a website that databases digital copies of comics and graphic novels to read.  I'm not looking to pirate, download or purchase digital copies of these  as after reading one, they are virtually useless to me.  As manga-access and onemanga are to Japanese comics,  I am looking for the same thing in American comics from companies such as Image,  DC,  Top Cow,  Marvel and Dark Horse. Again,  I don't want to download e-books but am just looking for scans that I can cycle page to page.  I don't want teasers but full series.

It sounds like you want to pirate without downloading, it's still illegal.

Comixology has some free (teasers)comic books, but most are for sale.

Marvel has a Digital Unlimited service for an affordable $4.99 per month (less than $60 for the first year) for access to over 10,000 comics.

It's probably not the answer you are looking for, but it's the legal answer (and within Yahoo's guidelines).

What you are looking for does not legally exist. Some of the choices you have which fits your criteria are the following digital comic distributors and publishers:

Comixology (http://www.comixology.com/free-comics)- Offers quite a large offering of free comics.

Dark Horse Digital (https://digital.darkhorse.com/free/)- Offers some free digital comics
