Is it ok to have alcohol now, I lost lots of blood....please read?

I had a hemorrage in the ER 2 weeks ago, I lost enough blood, and almost had to have a transfusion, but DID NOT. They gave me IV's and released me next day. 2 weeks later and I am wondering if it is okay to have a glass of champagne? Im afraid to drink alcohol with a low amount of red blood cells, isnt that bad? or is one glass a day okay?

    I think that is a question that should be asked to your doctor. Just to be on the safe side. There are also 24hr medical help lines you could maybe google and ask them.

    its never ok to have alcohol, its not cool.
