Facebook friends keep posting chain/untrue statements. Should I bother correcting them?
It's getting beyond a joke now. I have a good few friends who keep posting "facts" or sharing pictures of untrue statistics regarding foreigners, MPs etc.
Yes I could remove them or hide their updates but I feel like the nonsense shouldn't be allowed to be thought of as fact and so I have to correct them haha.
Anyway, my question is should I just leave them to it or should I carry on being the voice of reason? Could I be coming across as even more annoying than them by correcting them?

My brother does it, complete with links of sources to prove he is right and they are wrong. And I find it hillarious. I leave people to it because I can't be bothered to argue with stupid which is what can happen, and you can't reason with stupid.

Yeah they'll get really annoyed when you corrected them, someone posted a maths question on facebook and the answer was 10, not 0 so everyone had a go at for putting 10 and called me stupid when I was right, I don't even bother going on facebook anymore

If it fairly is each and every each and every now and then i do no longer probably innovations, yet i won't be in a position to stand it whilst human beings placed up 10,000 updates an afternoon relating to a similar f*cking subject, no rely what it relatively is. or whether they only flood my information feed with their "random" stupid innovations they of course think of are humorous or witty whilst they are the full opposite. i'm like, oh my god... why the hell did I upload you to my acquaintances record.
