Is letting a temporary tax cut expire the same as raising taxes?

Seems more like a temporary tax cut to me.

    Erik;

    Lets see if I understand. The Social Security fund is broke, because the government has spent it on their pet projects.

    We have an aging population, and we soon will have one worker for every SS recipient, this partly because of the murder of 55 million babies over the years from Roe vs. Wade.

    The government decides to save us taxes by eliminating the SS payments for the last year.

    And now since we must resume payments into our SS accounts, we *****, and call it a tax increase.

    Did I get that right?
