    It's different for everyone,

Kurt Angle needed a lighter schedule, he goes at it 110% and his body had been through a lot, I think he was even addicted to pain killers at one point during his WWE career, if I'm not mistaken! He needed to get away from WWE's hectic schedule and go to a company where he would have an easier work schedule so his body could heal up inbetween matches! Also, just for some new competition in the ring, to face off against stars like Samoa Joe, Sting, Aj Styles!

Jeff Hardy got in so much trouble with drugs that he couldn't stay with WWE even if he wanted too, WWE has a much stricter drug policy than TNA! In WWE, they will suspend and fire superstars for failing drug tests, TNA has given Jeff hardy a lot more chances than WWE would!

Mickie James was being misused on WWE television and the divas division was dying out in WWE, plus some say she had some personal issues, I think there was a rumor she had an affair with John Cena!

Chavo Guerrero eventually got sick of doing the entertainment sketches with Hornswoggle, he even snapped at the fans on-line, I think twitter, but once he realized they was right he decided to leave WWE! He would eventually make his way to TNA!

There's a lot of reasons, but more money is not a reason. I doubt anyone in TNA makes more money than they did when they were in WWE.

One unfortunate reason for some of them (namely Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam) is that they have no drug policy, so they're free to do drugs without any consequences. Most of the others that are in TNA are there because WWE released them and they thought that was the next best thing. I'd go to Ring of Honor before TNA. Sure, they'd make more money in TNA than ROH, but ROH has better wrestling than TNA, and better than WWE for that matter.

Sometimes it is because they get released. TNA is the next best thing as far as pay scale. Plus, TNA loves to take ex-WWE wrestlers. Secondly, wrestlers like Kurt Angle like the lighter schedule.

    Few reasons.

    1. Lighter wrestling appearances.

    2. No drug test policy.

    3. Misused in WWE.

    4. They got fired from WWE.

    5. Contract expired from WWE and doesn't feel like renewing it.

    6. Doesn't have to worry about Vince.

    7. Money isn't the problem.

    8. ETC

Don't forget Victoria/Tara and Gail Kim.

Contract expired and WWE doesn't want to renew them.

    They think they're misused.

They don't like the direction the company is heading.

    Other reasons.

Trust me, they do make enough money.

wasn't the schedule for TNA something like only work one week and one Sunday a month?
