Why is Japan considered as the most favorable country in the world?

Japan is received well by all groups. Japan is an extremely conservative country that has a lot of backbone when it comes to the turmoil around that part of the world and despite this they rarely have used force. They are a more eastern nation that has adopted western culture, and has fused the two where modern society can coexist with old world tradition. They are also very capitalistic and invest a lot of their own money into foreign markets which encourages economic growth in Japan as well as in foreign countries.

I REALLY do not believe this.

I know a LOT of people that travel, and while they don't have too many negative things to say about it, it's way down on their list of favorite places to go.

I also have read various other commentaries as well, and it is never touted to be in such high esteem. Maybe it has a better standing economically, but as far as societal......I don't buy it.
