Will people ever get tired of debating between Superman and Goku?

yes some people will...but until then new fans will come to continue it further

The distressing thing about these neverending debates is that it suggests that some fans have completely lost sight of what their fictional heroes even stood for in the first place.

There is more to these characters than the ablity to beat the crap out of people. And yet no one ever wants to debate who had the most determination, the better motivations, who was the most selfless, who was the better freind, who's story was the most deep. No, all the fans care about is who's the strongest, as if that meant anything!

Being the strongest doesn't make you the better person, most people realise that when they grow up. Having these debates can be fun if they were light hearted and simply for sake for discussion, but it's pathetic to keep pressing the issue as if the strength of someone who doesn't even exists meant something. It's the ideas what the characters repersented that is important, not the superfical ablities that the authors made up on a whim.

I didnt understand there became right into a debate. yet i think of Goku might win in a combat against each incarnation of great guy different than superman best, because of the fact best is waaaaaaaay to boss. as characters i admire goku waaaay greater advantageous than superman yet im no longer being biased in any respect

They will get tired of it, but they will move on to another match up. Perhaps Galactus vs Goku, I see that one a lot too.

God didn't have a beginning and he won't have an end. He lives forever!

EDIT: Yes, as crazy as it sounds, people talk about Goku standing a chance against Galactus when in truth, Galactus would blow him off soundly, easily, and any more synonyms that have to do with easily.

Who keeps winning anyway? Surly there must be some wins/lose tally somewhere on the net.

Where is the science?

They won't be satisfied until they see an animated version of Goku and Superman throw down which isn't going to happen. So probably never. I don't see it as often as some guy that keeps spamming " * vs Vegita" over here every couple days for 2 hours.

Seriously, the debate turned from Goku vs Superman, to just comic fans vs manga fans.

I don't think it they would. Even if they did, new people will keep joining the debate. This won't end unless creators of both of them decide.

Hopefully it will end one day. My problem is that most of the time people are not really asking who will win, but are saying why my guy is better then your because he's my favorite. I mean if you're bias towards one character who is your favorite then of course you're going to cheer for your favorite, and unless the results match to what you want they will never accept it.
