The rich will always get richer, in both good times and bad, they will always prosper more than the rest of us. They have the means, the power, and the connections. The rest of us just pick up the scraps that are left over.

The people you envy are a very tiny few people. They don't matter economically except as a repository of investment capital.
You should worry about the huge hordes of grossly overpopulating excess labor particularly in Asia literally swallowing the economies of the world.
