i usually make these really long and have lots of feelings so theyll pick best answer but this one is simple...emotionally numb is when your so accustomed to the bad feeling associated with something that you just simply submit to it and let it consume you and you just get caught in kinda a slum and it gets extremely hard to get out of it and move on....getting over someoneis defferent and its a little more general thign but usually you know it happens when you start to feel happier than you have in a long time...if you really want to do this you gotta branch out and talk to more people and really distract yourself from you emotional problem at hand...usually you can start to develope feelings for other people again and youll be able to notice you dont have feelings(or not significant feelings) for the original person...

all that in a nutshell: numb = feel bad.... getting over someone = feel good good luck with whatever your going though right now!...,

Numb is when you just ignore everything and don't want to face anything. Getting over requires facing things, healing and some grieving, analyzing things and possibly learning from mistakes and realizing that there is a future ahead of you

emotionally numb happens as a stage of grieving a loss or hurt..you still have feelings you're just suppressing them..

moving on is when youve gone through all the stages of grief and have accepted what had happened and feel indifferent to what happened that it doesn't affect you in anyway
