Harlem Shake videos on YouTube?

Tons of people are doing harlem shake videos on youtube, I'm sure you've seen them, but how are they not getting in trouble for copyright for the song. Usually when you use someone else's song, your video gets removed for copyright.

I am friends with a girl who's brother is in the original Harlem shake and they said that the writer of the song loved the dance SOOO much that they didn't get in trouble and when the put the vid online it wasn't supposed to be the new Gangnam Style dance they just put it up for fun but it turned out to be a great hit!!!

YouTube cut a deal so that they'll pay any royalties for the harlem shake videos just so they can keep getting posted to YouTube.

Because they have permission to post it on YouTube. They get permission from the owner of the song and then post it to YouTube, they won't do anything to the video. Also video parodies and other things like that they have to get permission to post it on YouTube.
