Help? Maytag Dishwasher fills, then buzzes and drains. Does not go through a wash cycle.?
I have a Maytag model mdbh949paq1 dishwasher. After selecting a cycle, the dishwasher fills with water, then I hear 3-5 buzzing sounds, and then the dishwasher goes into drain mode and shuts off. I've checked and there isn't any visible obstructions in the drains. I've tried unloading and running without dishes to no avail. What could be the problem?
No leaks. It shutters a little when it buzzes. Thought it maybe the controls so I removed the power overnight but on startup the next morning no change.

Sounds like something is blocking the pump or motor.
is it getting water is it leaking?
could also be a control just freaking out when it tells the motor to start.
no way to tell without getting in there on this one.
How old is it call home depot if it is under a year (i say home depot because that is a special model made just for home depot)
could be
bad pump motor control wireing a leak a jam power problem etc etc etc etc do more checking or call a tech
