How much touching would a straight guy allow?
I have a friend who is supposedly straight. I'm in-the-closet bi, but have indirectly come out to him and let him know I like him. He let's me kiss his cheek, hold/rub his hand, and rub his thigh (he's wearing pants). At this point in time he won't let me do anything more. So what's the deal? Could he really be straight and allowing this, or do you think he's kinda bi as well, or what? I'm so confused by him.
Anybody else here have a truly straight friend that allows touching and stuff, but nothing more??
Just for clarification, he never said he was straight. I never asked. He acts metro so I just kinda hoped he might swing both ways and after becoming great friends over the past couple of years I just decided to see if he was open to being close, which apparently he is .... up to a limit. So that's why I was wondering if it was possible he really is straight, or just not ready.

No straight guy is going to let another guy kiss him on the cheek or hold his hand.
He is not straight if he lets that happen.

My guess is that he could be gay or bi- but he's so far inside the closet that you are really playing with fire doing what you are doing. You push it any further and you stand a chance of him coming unglued and pushing you away (maybe physically) claiming he isn't and you are taking advantage of him.
You really need to pay attention to the people you are going to come on to and realize if they say they are straight take them at their word for it and don't push bounds because you are horny. You overstep what is appropriate unless the person returns your physical affections. Back off and let him come to his own decisions on what his sexual preferences are without your help. Tell him he has not displayed return affection therefore you are not going to continue. He's either going to want more and may indicate that or he might close the closet door and stay inside. If that happens, don't open it again.
