Which WWE wrestlers did you love as a kid, but kinda hate now?

I was a really big Hardy Boyz fan going up.  But both Jeff and Matt gets on my nerve now.  With the jail time and susbstance abuse and leaving the WWE for TNA and making a video bashing CM Punk's straight edge beliefs.  I just can't stand them anymore and I feel like both their careers have taken kinda a dark turn.  

I remember a point where Matt Hardy was fueding with Edge and Kane and he was just at the top of his career, but ended up blowing it.  Jeff just can't stay off the drugs.  Even after the WWE made him a 3-time champ, he couldnt take his job serious.  These were guys I grew up idolizing for their attitude and risk taking. Now I just dont like to see what they have become.

So what wrestlers have changed in your mind from when you were a kid?

Rey Mysterio

I mean, who didn't LOVE Rey Mysterio as a kid? Dude was awesome. All the kids love his story and his 'overcoming the odds' mentality. Kids to this day still love him.

But as I've gotten older, man, it's a lot harder for me to suspend my disbelief. I've realized that someone Rey Mysterio's size should not be able to hang with someone like Jack Swagger. Come on... Swagger set an NCAA record for most pins in a single season. He's 6'7, 260 pounds, and one of the most physically gifted athletes in WWE. Yet besides all of that, Mysterio STILL beat him. And this wasn't the jobber Swagger, this was the WHC Swagger. Stuff like that just ticked me off.

I know that isn't necessarily Mysterio's fault, but I just got tired suspending my disbelief. I root against Mysterio now in almost all the matches he's in.

I wouldn't say I hate him now since I'd be thrilled if he returned to WWE, but Jeff Hardy... his video bashing CM Punk was so immature and just... stupid. Plus, he looked high. That, in my opinion, was the lowest point of his pro wrestling career. Again, I wouldn't mind Jeff returning to the WWE and would certainly love for it to happen, but out of my "big four" as a kid--The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Kane and Jeff Hardy--Jeff Hardy is my least favorable one now.
