Which revolutionary ideals are still alive and active in America today?

Low taxes, and taxes that are not oppressive. (Defining what is "low" and "oppressive" has always been open for debate, however.)

Freedom from unreasonable search and seizure. Today criminal investigations of all sorts of crimes come down to whether or not evidence was obtained or a person was arrested unlawfully.

The right to bear arms is one of the most active ideals (both in practice and theory) existing today that stems back to the Revolution. Unlike taxation and search/seizure, gun rights remains one of the most politically contentious ideals even if its history has remained mostly stable.

None. The USA is becoming like Britain use to be, expanding its empire. Only now, the USA is worse than the British empire ever was. It has nuclear weapons and a huge military. The USA makes its money from death, and buddy, business is'a boomin'!

Sadly a diminishing number of us still think like that. Most people sit and suck their thumbs wanting mommies and daddies in government to care for and protect them all ways and always.

We now have a whole society of spoiled and sheltered little children in adult bodies. Many want elimination of the very weapons we need to get government off our backs and out of our pockets when it squashes us and bleeds us too much.

Right to bare arms, freedom of speech, separation of church and state ect. Some of which are slowly being killed. ehehehehobama... mmm, excuse me
