Do you think everything happens for a reason?
Some people think everything is chance. They don't live life with much emotion, and take a more rational, cut and dry perspective. Others live a more spiritually guided life, and think of their interactions as meaningful or powerful in some way.
This does not specifically have to do with religion, but could be similar.
What end of the spectrum are you on, and why do you think you are right?

Sometimes yes. I believe life is full of lessons that we are supposed to learn - some good, and some bad. Sadly a lot of people don't pay much attention to what they're doing and waste those golden opportunities. That's why they keep repeating the same mistakes over and over. :-)

It totally depend on which end of the spectrum you're coming from or the context in which it is being used..
Meaning do accidents happen for a bigger reason that makes the accident become the catalyst of great value and purpose or did the accident happen for the simple reason that I or someone else made a human error..
Reason can mean both, whats the reason or is there a purpose now that's the question but also depends on context..
For instance: Was there a purpose behind the accident or why the accident happened, there could be but, the purpose could mean that the accident was then not an accident after all but deliberate..
Or purpose as in the sense that the accident brought forth a discovery that would have remained hidden had the accident never occurred..
Not to say all accidents reveal the second idea of purpose or the first idea but, if not what is revealed is the "scenario" as in what actually occurred..
For argument sake: The purpose behind the accident was for the "crash" without the accident there would be no crash, therefore its purpose was the crash and the reason is because the driver lost control that gave a bigger reason for the driver to be careful from now on because the crash made the driver aware of an illness that saved his life, this was the "purpose" behind it all..

I really hate to say this but so many people are on drugs.
Not only drugs from the street, but from those that doctors hand out.
Drugs incite emotion as well as stop people from feeling too much or to bring
about apathy.
I do believe in G_d, I do believe that people can live well feeling anger and sadness, I think we all need to feel these emotions, as well as great joy.
I may not be on your spectrum.
Spirit, emotion, logic and reason make us who we are.
Like it or not we are human.
And sometimes, we need drugs to help us along, but not to make us who we are.

There handiest two factors matters occur. The first is purpose and effect, and the 2d is probability. Apart from that, no, matters don't occur for a reason. Take it from a man that has had extra brushes with death than which you could suppose - simply because you are still breathing is absolutely now not a cause you might be still right here.

My approach is to think there is a reason everything happens.
Then by searching for and discovering those reasons I am equipped with knowledge. By then pondering those reasons I am enabled to develop my understanding. And by putting that understanding to use I am able to exercise wisdom so as to have greater control over myself and my personal life.
However, there are many things that we have yet to search out, like health issues, and those things continue to plague us.
And no man is an island. The choices others make and the way that they handle their responsibility in this regard is another force which is often outside my control.

the bible talks about reasoning with God. so not all spirituality is pure emotiion.
logic can be a cold as ice emotion depending on circumstances
so i have a high end of sprituality but tempered with reason

No. We are not special. The universe does not alter itself to serve our personal needs, the universe was not made specifically to please homosapiens, we are less than a spec of dust compared to the amount of matter that exists in the universe.

I don't know, but when people say that, check if they are using hindsight to draw that conclusion.
