How to convince my mum to get me a new phone?

Question

I have a phone but its so crap , i have never in my existing life have i ever had a decent phone but on the other hand everyone else in the family has. Mum right now has 3 phones ; iphone 4s , some fancy samsung one and a Sony Ericsson one. he sony ericsson was mine but she thought it was pretty and took it, that was my birthday present and i had 1000 dollars which she kept. My sister (older by 2 years) has the iphone 4s too and in the past shes had a lg touchscreen she got just when it came out. -.- and shes had other phones. Big brother (by 4 years) he has the iphone 5 and has had others phone not so fancy but still. My dad doesnt like phones. Did i mention the phone i have is pretty much my first phone. I've been good and all but mum thinks im nothing and im not old enough to have a decent phone, my sister got a decdent phone in year 3 for the sake of god! Im in year 9. Its kind of embarrassing when people ask what phone i have to be honest. Oh just some medieval rock. I find it super unfair. my mum and sister are on a 50 something dollar plan which mums paying for and my brothers on a 60 something dollar plan hes paying so i guess thats fine. But i wanted a samsung galaxy s II on a 40 dollar plan and she says its expensive. I said i will pay for half of it every month. So 20 but shes not allowing me too. I hate it. All i want is a decent phone so i can contact people. Shes saying i have a phone already but yet she wont put credit in it for me. wow. PLEASE help me and give me ideas on how i can convince my mum! PLEASE.

in my photo thats an ipod, i bought myself but i want to go on a plan so you have to be 18 and over to sign the contract!

When it comes to convincing, you have to tell her why you deserve it. Just like commercials and adds, they only talk about the good stuff so consumers would buy it. You gotta how good u r to make her believe that u deserve it. She will be sold when you can tell her all the good deeds you've done. 

Or talk to her about how you feel. Mom, I feel......

Or if these techniques don't work out & people at school asks what phone you have, don't be embarrassed by it. You have to be confidence an appreciate the things you have. People will make fun of you when you are embarrassed or don't want to tell. When you answer them, answer with confidence and that you love your phone. when people see that confidence in you, they may react differently. If not and they make fun of you, you have to have self-esteem and say, "i don't care what you guys think!"

 Instead of thinking what's better, think about all those people who r homeless or 3rd world countries. They never had a chance to have a phone. You should be proud and happy that you have one. Thank your mom sometimes for giving you stuff. She'll be proud and maybe one day she'll surprise u with one.

In your pic it looks like you took a picture with a high resolution camera phone huh? :P , well just tell her that you will be responsible with the phone or save the money in a place she wont find out then buy your own phone, stop depending on her , :) Hope that helps , think outside of the box , you can do whatever you want the only limit is your mind and don't let anyone (Even your mom) to put you down or tell you can do anything (:   Good luck c:
