Song about being in love with someone but, you can't be with them because they don't fit in?

Question

Someone was trying to send me a message with a song but, I don't know who does the song or the title, the lyrics are something like them loving you but, they can't be with you because, you don't fit in with the crowd and then something about cement? The song starts of pretty but, gets to the bad part. It is a modern song probably from the 2000's and I don't think by a mainstream band..please help????

I know it is time to move on but, I want to know all the lyrics. The song is about loving someone and wanting to be with them but, they can't because you don't fit in with the crowd.
