If a man is 'impotent' for years,,,?
If a man is impotent for years or just cannot get an erection,, How should his Wife react in this situation?... ' A man cannot get an erection, he goes to a prostitute & she gets "it" working again. Should his Wife go off her head at him for seeing another woman? OR, Should she be thrilled that they can now both enjoy a normal sex life together?
::::::::::::::: EDIT :::::::::::::::: I'd just like to ask that you 'younger people' please do not answer this. I am looking for replies from Mature people who are capable of thinking with their brain between their ears, Not the one below your waist! Please keep the 'anti-prostitute' replies to a minimum of 0. For this question, If you haven't ever Been one, you know Nothing about them. So don't waste time, yours or mine. Oh, "Have a Nice Day." :)

I know about this (impotent ) situation....my husband had prostrate surgery and has it.
In answer to your question. If a man IS impotent, I doubt seeing another female would do a DARN thing.....This kind of "problem" could be treated with Viagra & if not, then NOTHING will change.
I sincerely doubt that he'd tell his wife either about seeing a prostitute........AGE deals both men/women a "raw deal' sometimes and there ARE other things beside sex as we grow older and wiser.
Source(s): Thanks for your in-put regarding the teens....seems as though sex to (MOST) doesn't mean a darn thing in this country......treat it like a passing thing...JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS...."I gave my friend a Bl*w - job because he asked for one".........IS PAR FOR THE COURSE.......IT SEEMS! - Anonymous8 years ago
u know, if u re concerned about your husband's functioning u should ask somewhere else, but not on yahoo. there is a bunch of unemployed and uneducated people who have nothing to do. if a man CAN get his organ up it means he is NOT an impotent. an impotent is a man who has no desire to have sex and if he does he can not get it up. according to your description he CAN get it up, but just not for u. he does not need to fix his erectile dysfunction with pills BECAUSE HE DOES NOT HAVE ONE. and back to your question how should the wife react in this situation - the wife should maybe talk to him and ask why she is so appalling. maybe the wife needs to lose weight or buy nicer underwear. or maybe she should stop yelling at him and demeaning him. otherwise u should go to a professional, because i am not the one, i just read a lot
yes, and once more: he did not "CURE" his ed with a prostitute, he did NOT have any ed in the first place. if a man does not want to have sex it does not mean he is dysfunctional.

This makes no sense at all. Why marry anyone if you are in love with someone else? And why impotent? So you can stay "faithful" to a man you can never have? >

she needs not to go off her head. b a waste of time.
she needs to take him to a doctor to find out why
no wood in the shaft.
if finds a valid reason, get it corrected.
if no 'valid' reason , marriage and sexual therapy
should be worked on.
a one time occurrence does not make 'normal' again.
she must understand sex is a 2 way street.
may be the street isn't all that any more.

Hi, you incorrectly answered my question on dreams. You obviously did not read my entire question and I was a little annoyed by that I just had to tell you.

He didn't overcome ED by going to a hooker. He didn't bother to fix it with the wife and is a cheater.
Move on.
Source(s): They have cures for ED. They aren't hookers. - ?Lv 78 years ago
Why should she be thrilled? He cheated on her and lied to her as well. Seeing another woman doesn't cure any man of ED, its all in his head.
