Physical therapy asst. or occupational therapy asst?

Im currently a security officer and have to work full time. I worked in health care in the past. I plan to work fridays and weekend and return to college. Im want to work with children. Out of occupational therapy asst and physical therapy assistant which provide more opportunities to work with kids at the associate degree level.

    I am a pediatric PT. Where I live they are laying off the Cota's but PTA are being hired.

    I would talk to the school system therapists where you live

    Since you're wanting to work with children, I would definitely go for the OTA.

    You could work in a pediatric clinic and would have a ton of variability.

    PTA for sure. There's a much larger market for them. I hire them and I know there is a much larger demand.
