Why don't WWE and Yahoo Answers get a partnership so our questions and comments can be shown on WWE TV?

I keep seeing Twitter and other forms of social media being useful to WWE but I never see Yahoo. That would be really cool if WWE and Yahoo Answers or Yahoo (Pretty much the same thing) agree to a partnership where our questions, comments, answers get shown on WWE Tv. I think it'd be fun and can increase traffic on this website.

Yahoo, if you're reading this, please agree to work with WWE where this can happen. I know you care about your users and want Yahoo Answers to be fun, this can improve that. Thank you.

In theory that's a great idea; we have some intelligent people and smart wrestling fans in this section who could give the WWE some great feedback.

In reality, though, the WWE sees everything that is not gushing praise as negative and THAT they don't show on WWE TV. If they were to have some sort of partnership with Yahoo that allowed them to post some of our comments the WWE would only take the most gushing praise and post it on TV. That would give the impression that the wrestling section of Y!A LOVES everything the WWE does which would piss off a lot of us here, and it would end up turning this into some sort of @sskissing section where users would only give gushing praise just to see their stuff posted on WWE TV. The WWE already has twitter for that.

Now, if the WWE would, for example, post questions here and either pick random answers, or allowed this section to vote which answers get posted on WWE TV, that would be great and give a much better representation of what this section is. I personally don't want to give Vince the impression that I love everything he does nor do I want to be part of a group that gives that impression.

The reason the WWE wouldn't make such a partnership with Y!A is because of the sheer number of complaints about the PG era and "When are we going to go back to the Attitude Era?" type of questions which has invaded this site for the last four years. Also, the majority of the questions getting asked here are of the trollish variety such as, "If wrestling is fake then why do you continue to watch it?," "Why do you watch WWE when you can watch UFC?," and more recently, "Is Rock the WWE version of Big Bird? Why or why not?"

Can you imagine Vince reading Yahoo! Answers every week on Smackdown and hearing yet another complaint from a 14-year old boy who was only one year old in 1998 complaining about the current PG rating and telling Vince to bring back back Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Attitude Era for the gazillionth time? It's doubtful the WWE would ever do a business partnership with Yahoo! Answers because there aren't any benefits for the WWE to engage in such a partnership.

This is the honest and real deal about your decision of a Yahoo / WWE partnership - utter crap.

Now, let's explore why - Yahoo Answers has a dedicated bunch of professional wrestling fans, Vince McMahon would shun the idea of working with Yahoo because the majority of WWE questions are asked in the Wrestling section of Yahoo Answers and, to Vince, that would have a negative outlook on him via the stuff said about him on this section and, let's be honest, we aren't exactly the bunch of people who anyone would come to for constructive criticism. I could see a fine line in something, the more experienced in watching WWE have a constructive view. You probably have a good view on what has to be done for WWE to get bigger because the IWC fills up a good percentage of WWE TV viewership

It would increase traffic but how much of a negative outlook would that have on Yahoo or WWE if the majority of stuff is 'WWE must go back to TV14, fire Cena, get Kassius Ohno and Richie Steamboat in WWE, we want blood, we want more tables, we want swearing' - it makes a vast majority of people see that WWE fans are unstable, out of control and downright brutal and it would tarnish the business vocal points of Yahoo and WWE

This is a very good question but the majority of answers would be 'Oh, good idea but is it really worth it?'. Reason why WWE use Twitter and Tout, casual WWE fans use that and most is what WWE wants to see because it doesn't badmouth them and they speak kayfabe. Hence why you won't see a negative Tout video on any WWE TV show

Alot of people complain about WWE here.

Twitter is mostly for fans to follow wrestlers and not actually ask them questions. Some wrestlers don't use twitter.

Because people always complain in the wrestling section

That would be awesome :) but don't think it will happen since Y!A isn't as popular as twitter.
