What is the price on a new thermostat and how much would it cost to install?

    About $25 for the thermostat

    You should also replace the radiator hoses: $20 x 2

    1 hr of labor ($85/hr)

    1.5 gals of antifreeze ($20/gal)

    1 new radiator cap, if it has one ($20)

    Around $20 for the part and $60 to install but I'll say now that you most likely don't need a new thermostat.
