I was out shopping and witnessed a young teenager?

Taking one spray after another of deodorant and applying it to herself. was i right to point out if she did that the customer would not get a full can after paying for it. Apart from that the spray was going every where .

Update:

why do i care because not only was she covering me with it also my shopping i don't want to taste smelly perfume on my food it's bad enough the horse meat meat without an unwanted garnish.anyway half empty containers means higher prices to make up for the ones not sold or are returned because of their actions Oh well if the attitude shown to my question is who cares what does that tell us?

If people think it is acceptable where do you draw the line? Maybe it's also ok to open a packet of biscuits and eat one to try them out? Open a bottle of wine and have a swig to try it out?

Basically it's theft, if the shop wants you to try things out they would provide samples
