What are the non-violent ways to eliminate religion from earth?

Hm. The Vatican has done a pretty good job of it already, in case you haven't noticed. It changed the scriptures to say what they wanted them to say (for example, during the 500s) and the mindless masses went along with it. So the Christian traditions cannot be rightly referred to as "religion" anymore. It's all invented now, it's all about keeping the people in line. And it was done both non-violently AND violently (such as the horrific violence done by the Vatican in Eastern Europe during the 1940s and 1950s). But real religion will never be eliminated. It will go underground ... and in many ways it has already because the stupid prefer their rituals, their huge buildings, loud pipe organs, and invented dogmas such as the one about the priest having the power to change a piece of bread into the actual flesh of Jesus. So obviously they've lost all sight of real religion ... this is one of the prophecies of the Srimad Bhagavatam, a very mega-ancient scripture of India. It spoke of how during the end times, people will have lost their vitality (which is self-evident) and their intelligence, which is also self-evident. No one thinks anymore -- they mostly go along with what they're told by their TV sets, and that's where so many of them find themselves hypnotized by the likes of people like Pat Robertson, Oral Roberts, Peter Popov, Jimmy Swaggart, etc., and this is what passes for "religion" nowadays. As people increasingly lose real religion, though, they will live more and more for the immediate moment, the sensation of the moment. A very empty & stupid way of life but that's modern humanity. Of course if you're suggesting that religion is a bad thing - and you've not been clear - they you need to find out what religion really is. Most people nowadays confuse Christianity with religion, and they are NOT the same thing, not by any stretch of the imagination ...

The original sin was to eat from the tree of knowledge. Knowledge is a sin in religion as religion doesn't want you to know anything other than what it tells you. This is why education is extremely corrosive to religion.

When religions resort to fundamentalism, like christianity and islam are, we are witnessing the destructive death agonies of obsolete and absurd beliefs. The fever fits before the final stillness of death. So i don't think religion needs eliminating, as it was never viable.

The only way primitive religion exists today is through the child abuse of forcing it into very, very young children but thanks to better education and growing intellects so many teens are able to discover the truth, throw off the indoctrination and step into the real world!

so just keep improving education and encouraging the growth of intellect!

Education, education, and finally education.

Nothing else beats ignorance, xenophobia, and self-importance so well as knowing about history, other cultures, and physical science. The more you know, the less you can be taken in by snake-oil selling preachers.

there are none, because there's no way to reason with them and if they had their way they'd be more then willing to violently eliminate everyone who doesn't agree with them.
