How long does meat stay good for frozen?
My land lord is a restaurant owner who told us we could raid a freezer that is in the garage, and there were a lot of nice roasts in there. I'm not joking we filled up the freezer in the house and we have probably 300 in meat still in the garage freezer. The thing has been running, but some of the roasts are a few years old. How long is meat good for if its been in a deep freezer?

you want to use the younger meat- after about 12 months it will be freezer burnt beyond edibility.

If wrapped securely and kept at absolute zero, there is no defined limit to how long it will last. Check for signs of thawing and refreezing; frozen blood pools. If extensive, throw it out. Check for freezer burn; ideally you want to see no surface freezer burn, but a small amount is ok. In the end, you will have to rely on sensory evaluation. Food inspectors refer to that as an "organoleptic" inspection. Does it look good? Does it smell good? Does it feel like it should or is it slimy to the touch? Trust your gag reflex. Whole muscle meat (like a roast) stays fresh longer than ground meat products.

Presuming it is not "freezer burnt" which would make it unpleasant (but not otherwise inedible)
indefinatly.
People have eaten Frozen Wolly Mammoth that has been dug out of glaciers.
As for "Freezer burned", this depends on how well it is packaged
