Is anyone else tired of the Rock's appearances just to do a stand-up comedy routine?

The second he came back, I was pissed. He just waltzes in after 10 years and takes the championship from Punk. I was pissed for the wrestlers that have been on the show for years and travel every day with the WWE; Their chance gets taken away by The Rock who's been gone for years. But all Vince cares about is money! ORTON ALL THE WAY!!

The Rock's WWE Contract does not call for him to wrestle at WWE Televised Events. The Rock has a Contract similar to Brock Lesnar's. He is required to make a limited number of appearances at Televised Events and wrestle on a few Pay Per Views each year. From what I understand, as soon as Monday Night Raw was over, The Rock flew to Panama to work on a Movie. The Rock has 1 Movie in Theaters right now and at least 3 more hitting Theaters in the coming months. The Rock appearing at a WWE Live Event increases Ticket Sales and Television Ratings and that is what WWE cares about.

Yes. I love The Rock and think some of his promos are genius, but I don't agree with him coming in after so long and becoming champion only to show up at a few Raws and 3 PPVs. He had turned the WWE championship into a tool to promote his films and TV shows. Not cool. However, I'm also not so keen on Cena being champ... again.

I'm more annoyed that Taker can come back 5 weeks from Wrestlemania without saying a word and is guaranteed a spot at Wrestlemania and the WWE thinks I'm supposed to care. Appearing on stage does nothing.

At least this year he's actually showing up live more often than he did last year. last year the stand up comedy routines were by satellite appearance.

My guess is the pay per views are really what he is there for.

You'd rather want him to take off his shirt and play fight with the other oily fake soap opera actors, don't you?
