Facebook verification problems. What is going on?
About a day ago Facebook asked me to verify my account or delete it. So I chose the verify option. It had me load a picture of just myself where they can clearly see my face. Which I did. But I have not heard anything back from Facebook and every time I go to the website it just says "Thank you for you photo. We will get back to you as soon as we can."
Has this happened to anybody else?

That doesn't sound like facebook. Either your account has been hacked or you have been phished. I have never been asked to verify my account and to send a pic of myself as you don't have to have a facebook account with any pics at all, it's not a requirement.
