The man is dead, and as with anyone who dies deserves some respect.
I can see by your question that the B.S your government has distributed about this man has shaped your biased view.
He did a lot of good for the people of Venezuela, but because he would not kiss the American heiney he was portrayed as an ogre/dictator.
He was democratically elected several times, as will his successor be.
