Emergency contraceptive pills works on cats?

If I give my female cat a emergency contraceptive pills which has to be given within 72 hours of sexual intercourse. Will it work? It works on human, then it should work on other mammals too?

You can't honestly think that a drug that works on and is meant for humans will automatically work for your cat with no harmful side effects. That's ridiculous. If you don't want a pregnant cat, spay her which is what you said have done before either letting her out to roam the neighborhood or having her interact with an intact male cat.

No do not give your cat human contraceptives. They are not made for cats and the dose for any medicine in humans is always way to much for a cat. You will harm possibly kill the cat.

No way. Cats have totally different metabolisms to us. But a vet can do a spay/abort in the early stages of pregnancy.

No - it would probably kill the cat - so call your vet and get an emergency spay done next week.

No, that could harm your cat! Just take your cat to the vet, they can help you.

    NO!

Different hormones, different sizes, DIFFERENT ANIMALS.

    Get it spayed.
