any known way of fixing the airbag light on a GS300 lexus?

A old type [1995 model] GS300 had a flat battery last year and now the airbag light is on all the time. I am told this is an instant NCT-MOT fail. Any way of fixing it.

Adam is wrong - the tester will be looking for the light at first switch on, then it goes out after a few seconds - some flash first. Taking out the bulb will be a fail too. It sounds like there was a spurious fault code generated when the battery failed - happens a lot. You needs to go to a garage wlo can read the fault codes (and it does not have to be Lexus, many independents can read them too) and clear them. If there is a fault it will come back on after a while...

Yes its a fail for sure

The light can only be switched off once the faulkt has been corrected and only by using plug in diagnostic equipment.

so you dont injurer yourself, take the dashboard apart and take light out. but the best thing to do is take to garage let them put a diagnostic checker on it find the fault code, and clear it simple

@timothy hence the 2nd part of my answer saying the BEST thing to do is take to garage!!.
