i've known him for about a year now. when we just met, he showed a lot of interest in me. constantly texted me and flirted with me and made it seem like he wanted something more. but i had a bf then. recently we broke up and i started liking him. we been hooking up. it's always on his terms tho. he's always the one initiating the texts and asking me over. in school, he treats me like a regular friend and doesn't give me any special treatment. when we're alone, even in public, he'll put him arm around me or hand on my back.. sometimes he'll ask me to go eat with him and he always pays even when i offer. today he asked me to eat but after eating he asked me for a favor if i would go to costco with him cause i have a card and he doesn't. do you think he likes me or using me?

Open your eyes woman he is using you because he knows he can take advantage of you and your feelings and if you want to make a relationship out that then your screwed because it will never happen try to move on with your life and leave him behind he's a waste a time, find a man that will treat the way deserve to be treated.

Can't it be both? He obviously likes you well enough, but he also likes sex and you're willing. Why is this odd? He obviously doesn't think of you as a girlfriend yet, but do you really expect him to? He's taking you on dates and paying, so it's probably headed in that direction. Once you two have settled a bit, have a relationship talk with him about being exclusive.
