What kind of batteries should I get for my Nikon AW100?
I just decided to purchase a Nikon AW100 for my upcoming cross cultural trip. We'll be traveling around the rainforests of Bolivia and staying in a research station on the Galapagos Isles, so I won't have regular access to a power outlet to charge a rechargeable battery. Are there any other options available? Should I purchase multiple batteries?
Also, do I need any other accessories? Should I invest in an HDMI cable of some sort?
I'm also purchasing a 32 GB sd card, which I neglected to mention.
Is the only option for the AW100 rechargeable batteries? Would it be advantageous to buy a spare or two and keep them charged and handy for extended trips?

I'd suggest buying a couple of spares - there's no alternative to the proprietary battery.
You'll also need a couple of SD cards.
An alternative is to get a camera that takes AA batteries and carry a few sets of Lithium reloads.
