Well Dragon Ball ended with Goku at 19 years old. Then in the first episode of Dragon Ball Z, he had a 4 year old Gohan. Making Goku 23/24. Then another 4 years pasted when they fought Frieza. Making Goku 27/28. Then another 3 years at cell. I specifically remember them saying Gohan was 11 at that time. Making Goku 30/31.
Then Buu had a 7 year skip, 37/38. And GT was a 10 year skip. 47/48. GAAAAWWWWWDDDD!!! Dat old ahh fighter!!!!

@Vincent actually the events of GT started 15 years after Buu was killed. Goku was 52 at the start of GT in Age 789 of the series.
