I would think that "research" indicates

your use of many sources to corroborate

    your thesis

whereas 'study' means you are quoting only

a single source - hoping that it has done

    adequate research

    all the best

    Source(s): Bachelor's and Master's degrees

Can you study something you have not discovered first? Do you not see "Search" and the prefix "Re" - Research, refers to the Search, by which the data will be gathered, and "Studied" to come to a conclusion, based on the Research itself. For Example: To find all the Definitions of the word "Study" would require "Research" taking into account the Etymology, the Numerous number of Dictionaries available, the common use of the word in various cultures, Etc. not till all the Research Datum is gathered, could you "Study" in depth all the Data of your Research.

great question madhavi:) you comprehend even with the undeniable fact that those words sound synonimous yet nonetheless there lies a "deep" distinction !! Happiness could be got here upon of issues which won't additionally be effective to our religious or psychological ingredient like we'd bypass out & have our prominent dish & clothing etc., we'd sense chuffed. yet delight comes from a sort of achievent, if we get sturdy grades in examine we'd get a favorable feeling that announces "annoying be conscious paid off" now thats extra effective isn't it ;p[ Now peace.... i think of it relies upon on what physique of suggestions we undertake towads the "activities" we do for "happiness" or the two "delight", peace definitely exist in our self, it purely should be got here upon via us. a individual of lack of wisdom might desire to sense peace on a similar time as a annoying worker might desire to be strresed. this is even oposite to that . So peace desires to got here upon via us.
