Can this be a sign of dementia? multi tasking? Or exercising? Today is 3 for ! in Y!A?

Hi community members,

Is this a sign of dementia? multi tasking? exercising? I was cleaning house, dancing around, when I realized I had to flip the record, then saw the ocean pictures I hadn't hung, went & got hammer & tape measure, went back to hang pictures (before I forget), measured wall to hang picture, forgot nails went & got nails, went back again finally finished hanging the pictures=oceans & light houses damn I do good work. Forgot what was I doing? I give Bests & stars. Have a good AM.

Additional Details: had to explain so you all could answer the questions.

Update:

Hello, this is 3 different words, to the a 3 part question. Did some of you even read the questions?

Update 2:

Thanks to all of the community members who answered on my question. It was 3 part question=dementia, multi tasking & exercising and no one answered all 3 so I had to pick what I thought was the best answer. Have a Happy St.Pat's Day & a good AM!

    Don't worry about it.

You probably took one too many tokes off of the bong. You'll feel better after you eat a bag of cookies.

Most people have a system of one kind or another. Some are more organised that others and I come into the category of disorganised (as do you, but you are more extreme that even I am). I am very easily distracted and have several jobs on the go at the same time but they all get finished in the end.

If the 'phone rings I might return to job number two even though it was job number five that I was in the middle of when the 'phone rang. Unless one of these jobs is urgent it really doesn't matter.

The only time I have to be slightly more organised is on Thursdays when two people come to have a meal with me. That means that the table must be clear. I always manage that and they have never turned up to find the table littered with oils paints, jewellery findings or paper punches. Any other time it's a different story and my house looks like a busy/messy workshop.

Wow, you not only listen to RECORDS, but have to flip them manually? It's true, you do get some good, mellow tones from some of those oldies, as long as they haven't gotten worn or scratched.

I had some comment about forgetfulness and incipient dementia, but I can't remember what it was ...

Happy cleaning, I know that is never really finished.

I agree with "S" & if you have public broadcasting they have been showing a show called Brain Power & they tell you that you forgot cause you never stored your thought in their in the first place.

So a person gets up & goes to the refrigerator but can't remember what he came in to get. If he thought about it first then he could remember. No, it's not dementia just get that program & learn how to improve your brain.

    You still listen to records!!

No, it sounds like hanging pictures to me - you got it done, you get a reprieve for the rest of the month.

In the midst of all that, if you stop and say "OOOO, look a bunny!", you have ADD.

I think you might benefit from a "to-do" list.
