How can I get my girlfriend to dress better?

You can either buy her clothes, or whenever you two go out and you see something that would look good on her, just pint it out and say, "Hey that *whatever clothing* is nice." or "I bet you'd look amazing/pretty/cute/beautiful in that".

Just gentle nudges, don't flat out say something or she might get upset.

I think if this is really bothering you and if you really give a **** about what your friends think about your lover then. Take her shopping at a mall, pick out some things and suggest to buy them because you'll tell her she would look great and sexy in whatever it is. If she doesn't go for it at first continue to tell her that she's already great looking but she would look stunning in those heels or whatever. She'll go for it eventually after she does see how wonderful she looks in more feminine clothes.

When her birthday comes up, you should give her clothes. You can also suggest clothes to her while you are shopping. Give her different clothes that you would like her to wear. Have fun!

Buy her clothes. When people buy me clothes I feel compelled to wear them even if I don't like them. I don't want people to feel as if they've wasted their money on me so I just wear them.
