Can a Muslim help me answer this please?

Asalamu alaykum I am a convert to Islam since 2011 but I had a child before accepting Islam. My husband has been acting as a father to her for over a year but her real dad has recently asked me for contact. The dad isn't a Muslim hes a Sikh so what does Islam say here? Should I give him the contact? Is it an obligation for her to know him?

No matter what his religion is, unless he attempts to abuse her, he should have contact with his daughter. Islam reveres family ties, and it is an obligation for you to allow him to have contact with your daughter. The important thing is to remind your daughter why you converted to Islam so that she will always be able to differentiate. In the end however, your daughter has the right to be in contact with both her parents (and her step-dad) and choose what suits her.

No, you must remain loyal to your husband at all costs. any contact between you and him while you husband in not in the home or when you are no in the presence of your husband is against the word of Allah! You would commit a serious violation. You must be aware of the responcibility that you bear in marriage.

Any religion that would keep a parent an child apart is not the truth.

Why ask a muslim? Muslims are stupid and evil and what kind of mother are you to even have to ask such a question? Everyone knows that a child should see his/her father.
