Obama has just landed in Israel on Airforce 1 How many people are actually on the airplane when the american president travels anywhere? Seems to me it's a big plane for a few people.

Air Force One has seats for 102 people. They're not always fully occupied.

it'sa a floating whitehouse. it can seat all the chambers of commerce and the presidents family. it CAN hold upawards of 102 I've been told.
Source(s): the jet can hold even more, but a trip like that wouldn't be required to do so.
